The Jeffersonville High School community is dedicated to providing all students with a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self–discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. Our goal is to produce learners for life.
Jeffersonville High School offers the most Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Credit Courses in the metropolitan area, with courses ranging from Biology to World History to Advanced Speech and everything in between. A state-of-the-art language lab is part of the three AP language courses. Thanks to the NMSI Grant, students will receive $100.00 for every score of 3, 4, or 5 on AP Math, Science, and English.
Save money on college! Graduates can leave with up to two years of college credits! Also, graduates qualify for FREE college through Jeffersonville’s Promise program!
If college isn’t the path for a student, our school to career programs teach students marketable skills through practical, hands-on experiences. The JHS vocational program includes IT certifications, welding, building trades, vocational television, childcare careers, and pre-nursing. Students can also earn auto-tech, pre-pharmacy, cosmetology and many other certifications through partnership programs with GCCS and Prosser. JHS also boasts a stellar JROTC program.
On the field, court, or in the pool, JHS excels. Our competitive athletic programs include football, basketball, gymnastics, diving, tennis, baseball and so much more. We have the best facilities, including turf football and baseball fields.
Be center stage in one of our internationally award-winning musicals, play a tune in our award-winning band, or join one of our dozens of clubs, aimed at offering something for every interest.
